Seaglass Cafe is brilliant for any food lover but even more so for those that suffer with dietary requirements.As a coeliac, its such a treat to have a wide & varied menu thats clearly labelled with knowledgable staff who can confidently advise and recommend delicious freshly made food.Yesterday I had a special sandwich made to takeaway (on my short lunch break). I was welcomed in like an old friendPrevious visits Ive had the beautiful avo toast and attempted to work my way through their awesome cake menu.Fabulous and a real treasure to any Sunderland based foodies
Another lovely meal here yesterday, I had a ham, cheese and tomato panini and my daughter had a steak sandwich. Both came with salad and we added a portion of chips each because they're SO good! As usual, both the food and the service was excellent, as were the prices. My daughter is coeliac and can relax here, knowing how well they cater for allergies, and that she doesn't have to worry about cross contamination.As usual, she also got some gluten free goodies to take home, a cheese & bacon scone that she said was amazing (I didn't even get a crumb!) and a delicious raspberry and white chocolate brownie - I got one of those for myself so can confirm how good it was I'd highly recommend checking this place out, you won't be disappointed.
We visited seaglass cafe today for the first time, which also sadly is their last day. Breakfast was beautiful and excited to try the cakes with a cuppa! Lovely atmosphere and so cosy, good luck in your next adventure
